Going to try Sanaa on our upcoming vacation and I was wondering......what do you all think?

We ate there back in January and I thought it was pretty excellent. I had the Spice-Crusted Cornish Game Hen with Turnips and Cherries, and my girlfriend had the Tandoori Lamb Chops and Five-Grain Pilaf. We both loved our entrees and the appetizer sampler was very good.

The bar is also a great place to relax before or after a meal. You can even order your dessert there. It's a great addition to the resort, and we'll be going back again.

We're considering Sanaa for our next trip also. Is there anything on the menu for people who don't care for African/Indian food? DS14 is not a fan of Indian cuisine.

We absolutely love this restaurant. We try and eat here twice every trip. The food is unique and taste wonderful. I posted what pictures I could find I hope they help. I hope you have an awesome trip....

We thought our dinner here was very good. The portions are huge; we did the bread sampler and I don't think any of us then finished our entrees. All 4 of us (4 adults) ordered something different and everyone shared. I thought the slow cooked short ribs/chicken in curry were excellent.

The menu is definitely unique and not a place I'd recommend for people who don't care for Indian spices. All 4 of the entrees we selected were very flavorful.

I get their bread service (just for me although we usually order more than one order) and the tomato soup. Love it, love it, love it.

In fact, friends ate there today and I had them call me and tell me what they were having!

I wish I would have seen this when we were there! Sounds terrific!

We had dinner there in anuary and loved it. The bread service is a must do and my friend raved about the tomato soup, very fresh you can actually taste the tomato! I had the sustainable fish and she had curried shrimp, both delicious. We had the desert sampler and loved the tastes and portion size.

Our server was very knowledable and let us know the spices could be adjusted to taste.

The bread service with the dips choices was outstanding!!!!!!!! (I am pouting, we are going again in December and I really, really want the bread again. But I don't want to share it with 4 kids! I would only get 1 piece even if we ordered 2.)

I'm a hard core foodie and I test recipes for two magazines, so my expectations may have been different than those of others. I thought it was good--but not great. The bread service is wonderful! I had tandoori chicken which was nothing special. My friend had beef something, again, nothing special. It was very slow when we were there and despite this, service was HORRIBLE. Among the worst I've ever experienced on WDW property. We had to ask repeatedly for refills on drinks, even went so far as to get up and go get another server! I'll try it again some day, but I'm not in a hurry to do so.

We just returned from a two night stay at Animal Kingdom and both nights we ate at Sanaa. We heard Jiko was great but didn't want to spend the two table services!


We really enjoyed Sanaa. For my daughter, who did not like the African themed food, there was a great NY Strip on the menu.

The Tandoori shrimp? I LOVED it! I had lunch there in May, and I also am eating lunch there in October. I'm wrestling with whether I should have what I know I love, or try something else.
BTW, my service was excellent. Look for her (sorry I can't remember her name)-
