Any reviews on Sanaa at Kidani. DW and I are going in Feb and would like to know if we should give it a try. Thanks :worship:

Our family had dinner there in July and enjoyed it. We sat by the windows and had a good view of the animals throughout our meal.

I can't recall what entrees we ordered, but all were good. We asked our server to suggest an appetizer and she recommended the "Naan" bread. :thumbsup2 DD14 & DS11 really thought it was great.

My friend and I ate there in September... we both thought it was amazing!!

Neither of us are extremely adventurous diners....so we were very nervous about trying it.

Our waiter was terrific and made great recommendations for us both. The food is different... but there are more familiar offerings as well as more exotic.

We we both very impressed with the service, food, and atmosphere.

I tried to get an ADR whenI was there in Nov...no luck....and so far no luck for us in Feb either.... but I'm still trying:thumbsup2 I take it as a sign that other folks are liking it as much as we did!

Another positive experience here. My son, DH and I ate there is October for dinner. Excellent service and food....everything was fresh, tasty and wonderful. My DH liked it so much its his new favorite restaurant at WDW!!

It was fabulous! We had the bread service with naan, paratha, and paneer partha breads. We chose the red pepper hummus, mago chutney, and cucmber raita. We also tried the tandoori chicken and the read and green curries. It quickly became a favorite of ours. YUMMY!

I have been twice- once with a friend, and once with my family. And I'm going back for round 3 in May with my friends (and hopefully #4 with DH in September)- so I guess you could say me likey Sanaa!! :thumbsup2 My favorite thing is the bread service- I dream about it, seriously. And the shrimp curry. OMG, so, so good! I wrote about it in one of my TRs- the DISmom one. Here is a direct link to the Sanaa post-

I'll be writing about the recent one in the next week or so when I start the next TR. :goodvibes When we went in November, I made the ADR for lunch so we could watch the animals while we ate- THAT was very, very cool. Also, the restaurant was not filled- so if you have trouble getting a dinner ADR, try it for lunch instead. You will LOVE Sanaa!!:yay:

ETA: The bread service now offers a differnt bread from the roti- it's an onion bread, and it was delicious!!!

8 of us went there the 1st week of December and it was terrific. We had the bread service as an appetizer, I had the tandori lamb chops which were really good, others at the table had the short ribs which were excellent. the NY strip which was very good and the Game Hen which was really great and I recommend highly- even if you don't normally like turnips they are cooked in a way that has so much flavor you'd never know they were a turnip.

Also if you're on the dining plan the 1 table service credit is a big plus for this restaurant!

We enjoyed the restaurant. The food was quite good, as was the service. Order their special breads as they are fabulous. The only complaint would be the desserts. Very overpriced and underwhelming. I will skip dessert at this restaurant in the future.

DH and I were disappointed with our meal at Sanaa last May. We are vegetarians and saw that they had a few options for us on the menu and were excited to try it. We enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer but the rest of our meal was disappointing. In particular, the vegetable biryani wrapped in bread was the worst thing I've ever eaten at WDW or anywhere else for that matter. DH and I each ate two bites of it and pushed it aside. It was tasteless, boring and expensive given what it was. As far as I could tell it was just basmati rice, a few pieces of what might have been eggplant (which I happen to dislike) wrapped up in bread. It's called "Dum Biryani" and I think "dumbed down Biryani" would be a more accurate name for this dish.

DH and I both love Indian food and Indian restaurants generally provide wonderful dining options for vegetarians so we had high hopes when we first heard about the cuisine at Sanaa. We're giving it another try on our next trip and hoping that things have improved.

We have ate dinner there twice. It was great both times, and has become one of our "must do" restaurants.

I found it to be just an OK place. We weren't at all impressed with the selections and when they did come it was so little that we felt like we needed to go somewhere else and find something else to eat.

We also had to try and find our own silverware, because after our waiter took our order we didn't see him again. Someone else delivered our food and disappeared, but didn't bring silverware. All of the other waitstaff around there ignored us also until a manager found us searching for the silverware, but it wasn't a can I help you attitude, but a what are you up to attitude. I don't think we will go there again.

I made a luncheon reservation for next month. The menu looks interesting. I hope it is good that day.

We went for the first time last month and loved it! Even my DB who is not into "exotic food" enjoyed it. As other's have said the bread service is fun to get and I had the short ribs and curry, both excellent. Best of all its in our home resort. It has quickly risen to one of our favorites at WDW.
