Hi, we're going to be staying at AKL in March with my sister and her family and I want to go out for a grown up dinner. So I was planning on dropping the kids off at Simba's Cubhouse, which I have heard great things about, and heading to one of the restaurants at the resort. My BIL is pretty much a meat and potatoes kind of guy, and I'm not sure how adventurous he is, so should we go to Sanaa where it looks like he could just order a steak or would Boma have enough "normal" choices?

We have never eatena t Sanaa but we have eaten at Boma and the selections are quite different than the norm. I would say go for Sanaa or Jiko where you can get a steak and taters for the picky eaters and they also have wonderful items for the more adventurous eaters. Good Luck!!!

I, on the other hand would suggest Boma because of the wide variety of foods. There has to be something there that everyone can like. At least that has been our experience. My DH is more into Boma than me, but I always leave more than satisfied. Have a wonderful meal whatever you decide :goodvibes

I agree :). We've never eaten at Sanaa, but Boma, IMO, has plenty of things to choose from (even for picky eaters). We have a picky eater and Boma is one of his favorite places to eat. He always makes sure we eat there at least once every trip. I think Boma would be a good choice since it's a buffet with plenty of variety :goodvibes.

We've eaten at Boma several times and Sanaa once. I liked both, but the less adventurous eaters in our party prefer Boma. Therefore, I suggest that you'll have better luck at Boma.

I agree with PPs that Boma is DEFINITELY the better choice! My entire family loves Boma. They have a carving station with meat and you can get mashed potatoes and mac& cheese so your picky eaters will be covered. There is a lot more variety at Boma! Enjoy!
