Sanaa for lunch or dinner?

On our AK day we would like to eat at Sanaa. I can't decide if we should do an 11:55 reservation and break up our day with it or if we should do it at the end of our AK day at 5:00. We will be there on 11/10. I am thinking that the pros of doing it for lunch is that the kids will still be in good moods and we will have the freedom to cut the day short for something else if we tire of AK. The pros of doing it at 5 is that we get a full uninterrupted day in at AK. Any thoughts? What is the better time to see the animals?

In November, it gets dark early. If you go at 11:55 you will probably get a window table where you can view the animals in full daylight. If you go at 5:00, your chances of a window table are much slimmer and the minutes of daylight are limited. We go for lunch on every visit and love it.

You will not be able to see animals on the savanna from the restaurant windows after sunset.

We have only been to Sanaa for lunch, but we loved it! The food is outstanding, and even if you don't have a window table, the savanna is easily viewed. Have a great time!

went last week for dinner. got dark early...but still got to see animals. the birds, and some giraffes. as we got dessert, a truck starting driving around the savannah refilling the feed boxes. And the birds chased the truck. It was hilarious!

the food was AMAZING!!!

We went last May for dinner and loved it. We did it after our animal kindom day as we were right there. the food was really good and we thought it was a nice way to end our Animal Kingdom day. We didn't have a window seating although we were part of the first parties being seated. The window seates were already all taken so we went outside to see the animal before being seated.

Wow i didn't even know about this one! I think we will be going for dinner about 5 so we can still see the animals and AK will be closed anyway and then we will head out to epcot if the kids are still calm at that point! I think my DD will LOVE the fact that you can see the animals!

On a similar vain- when is sunset in early july as we would like to go for dinner and after the heat of the day so that the animals are a bit more active. But want to make sure that its ahead of sunset.

went to Sanaa for dinner and really enjoyed the experience. we then went out to check out the animals which was pretty cool. the only thing is we did this in the summer so was warm and still bright, i don't know what the sunlight and temps are like this time of year.
