We've got our first trip to Sanaa coming up. Me, DH and 2 kids. We definitely want the bread service with all 9 accompaniments. I think DH and I would probably both want to order the butter chicken as an entree. Will we insanely stuffed? DH and I are pretty big eaters so we can handle some food. Or I was thinking maybe DH get his own entree and DD10 and I can share something - she's pretty adventurous.

I think that with the four of you sharing the bread service that you should be ok. Even with individual entrees it shouldn’t be too much

It’s too much for me to have the bread service plus an entree. We did that the first time and it was way too much to be enjoyable. After that, we ordered less. Once, I just had soup; another time we shared one entree.

We did the bread service with the 9 sauces (wonderful) and then the two of us each had an entree. Could not finish the meal, couldn't even think about dessert.
With 4, you will probably be ok.

My family of 4 big eaters shares the bread service—adding a few pieces of bread—and shared a few other items family-style. We are stuffed!

You'll be fine. We've had the bread service and entrees a number of times...sometimes even having room for dessert.

We ate at Sanaa this week, that is what we did, DH and I shared a 5 piece bread order and each got an entrée, I finished all of my dinner and my bread. I was full, but I cleaned my plate.

3 of us in November. We had the full bread service, entrees a bottle of wine then desert. It was so good we had to fnished it all.
By the way the house made candy bar was the best desert I think I have ever had in my life.

The first time my husband and I went to Sanaa, we ordered the Naan with all 9 sauces and we each ordered an entree. We probably only ate about half our entrees we were so full! We didn't even finish our Naan either.
Now we know that all we need to get is the Naan and that will keep us full.
I should add too that we're pretty Big eaters as well
