Sanaa bar menu?

Does anyone know if the bar at Sanaa still serves the full dinner menu? I'm seeing conflicting reports and the official lounge menu on WDW website only lists the bread plate and one other appetizer as available. I tried and failed to get an ADR for myself and a friend and was wondering if it's worth it to keep trying or should we just sit at the bar instead.

They did not when we were there pre pandemic, December of 2019. They had a limited bar menu that mostly consisted of appetizers.

Have you tried a lunch reservation? I’ve found it easier to score once the midday rush is over.

I'm going to keep hunting for dinner via ************ and hope for the best.

I'm doing a solo day at AK tomorrow and thought that if the crowds or heat start to be too much, that I'd like to go over to the Sanaa Lounge at AKL for a drink. Does anyone know if I will be able to do this? I will be driving my own vehicle and be on my own - it will be mid to late afternoon and I'd leave by 5-6 pm at the latest.

It looks like I could get an ADR for lunch, but I don't want to eat a full meal.

Sorry! Thought you were asking about the menu when instead you wanted to know if you could get into the resort via car.

It seems to me that the resorts with access problems for people without ADRs are mostly the MK area resorts and Rivera because it’s new. AKL is a destination in itself and gets less traffic. Can’t say I know this for a fact though.

If you want to access AKL without issue you can always just take the resort bus from AK to AKL. I know this will require more time than driving yourself but you won’t be turned away.

Sorry for all these questions, but I have another.

If I order Sanaa To Go, am I assured entrance via my own vehicle? I think I would have prepaid for it, right? So what would happen if they didn't let me in to pick it up and it's paid for?

If I do get admission to pick up my to-go order, can I go to the Lounge and order a drink and eat my to-go with my drink?

I appreciate the suggestion of taking a bus, but if I had to do that (bus from AK to AKL then back to AK to collect my car), I wouldn't bother because it would rather defeat the purpose of trying to relax from a crowded/hot AK which would be the only reason I'd be leaving AK to do this. I'm also trying to maintain social distancing (even though I'm fully vaccinated and still masking in public spaces) because of the current Delta variant conditions in Florida. So no bus for me.

Maybe just Uber there and back to be sure? I would’ve been turned away from the Poly without my Kona res, for certain. But as @NYCgrrl said, they might not be as strict away from the MK, but if you don’t want to gamble…

Thanks for the input and suggestion! It's not that important to me to go to that trouble - would make for a pretty expensive drink to Uber there and back, lol.

Hoping that someone has some first hand experience with access to AKL to pick up a prepaid Sanaa To Go order. What happens if they don't let me in? Will my order be refunded?
