Sanaa at Kidani Village

I had a DF who was Asian Indian and she made me many dishes, but they were always too spicy for me. I felt so bad, in the end, all she used to offer me was OJ and English Tea biscuits which were fine! So, this is not good news for me, however, I think Jiko's has lots to offer, and we just tried it for the first time in September. We haven't tried Boma, but we will.

I'm sure we won't starve when we stay at AKV!

Oh boy :cool1: I'm sure somewhere serving curry will be full to the brim of visitors from the UK, where it is now of course the most popular cuisine! That said I think most of the curry eaten here is anglicised versions of the Indian originals, but I'm sure something a bit more authentic would be really welcome too.

We were told by a DVC guide in October that Kidani would have its own counter service as well as table service.

Not to mention turmeric! It is a truly yummy spice that is also good for you.

Jiko and Boma are two of the best restaurants in WDW IMHO just due to fact they serve different food. It will be nice to add a third to the list if the food and service is on par with Jiko and Boma.
I also remember hearing that there will be a counter service at Kidani for those of you who need chicken strips, fries, and a cola(my youngest is included with you). If I remember correctly it will be by the pool area like at CSR.

I love Indian food!

With Jiko, Boma and now Sanaa, AKV is possibly going to have three great restaurants onsite. I just hope the food and service are as good as Jiko and Boma.

It's about time there will be somewhere at WDW to get Indian food! I think Yak and Yeti really missed an opportunity since they are in the ideal location for that cuisine so I'm happy to hear AKV is considering it. Did the CM mention anything besides just naan?

I think she did but I don't really know anything about indian food except for naan so that was all I remembered :D

That was my first thought. Any chance the CM in question was a bus driver?

Hahaha I thought it was a bit early too but it was NOT a bus driver so... LOL :rotfl:

The CM also said that she usually isn't a big fan of Indian food but she loved everything so maybe it is Disney-fied a bit. I don't really care for it either but I definitely will give it a try, no matter what the final menu is.

I can't wait for Kidani
