My family ate there last night and we LOVED it. We had 8:30 reservations which made it nice and quiet. The servers were very attentive. We could only see animals for a brief time because it became dark outside, but the restaurant's ambience was fantastic. We all enjoyed our food very much. We were not familiar with this type of cuisine, but the waiter did an Excellent job of explaining everything on the menu. We ate the following:
Bread Service: Naan, Roti, Paneer Paratha with Onion Mint Raitha, Mango Chutney, and Tamarind Chutney. One of the breads was REALLY spicy, I think it was the Naan, but I'm not sure. The Onion Mint Raitha was also spicy.
My Mom had the Tandoori Chicken, made to order (not spicy), with Mango Chutney on the side. She found that she loved the chutney mixed with the Basmati rice.
Dad had the pick two: Short ribs and spinach with paneer cheese served with Basmati rice. The short ribs were incredible: moist and delicious. The spinach/cheese was VERY salty.
I had the Dum Biryani: Vegetables mixed with Basmati Rice wrapped in Paratha served with a Pineapple Raitha. This was excellent as well. Like a moist chewy filo dough wrapped around well seasoned rice and veggies. The pineapple raitha is yogurt based, but don't expect sweet processed yogurt, it's the sour, real stuff!
For dessert we had the sampler: Cardamom Cake, Mango Pudding, and Eggless chocolate cake. All of them were good, though mom and dad weren't particularly in love with the Cardamom Cake. I had the Chai Pudding dessert and LOVE LOVE LOVED it. The cardamom cake was delicious dipped in the Chai Pudding as well!
I also had the Durbin Wine Flight - three different reds. Delicious, but strong! Mom had the Gewurtzraminer and enjoyed it very much.
Well that's a little of our experience - hope it helps. Sorry no pics. I think the restaurant is worth a shot if you aren't afraid of new flavors!
