San Juan port transfers

I have cruised out of San Juan on DCL just once. This time we are opting for the port transfer for the pre cruise using the DCL hotel and booking it through DCL. We are flying in the day before. Do they transfer us from the airport, remember the day before, to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port? I heard luggage pickup is at 9am but is that also when we go to the port! Has anyone done this and can explain the process and timing?

You're going to want to call DCL and ask that very thing. We did DCL transfers in Orlando and while there are certain hotels they do pick you up from, we weren't at one of them and had to get the hotel shuttle to take us back to the airport and caught the bus there.

We have spent a good bit of time in PR and if you haven't already booked the port transfer, it might be just as easy to use the hotel shuttle or taxi van. The terminal that DCL uses is the "old terminal" on the south side of the bay near the new convention center and plaza. Most of the hotels in San Juan are less than 10 minutes from there, nothing like Orlando.

But regardless, your source of truth for that (and setting up the pickup location if you decide to do the transfers) is to call DCL.
