Many moons ago when I was 3 hours away and littles you always hit MK first.....So here I am going for my 40th with my godmother and we have 4 day tickets with MNSSHP. How do you start your trip? Do you hit MK right away or wait? Our first park day will be a Friday and last day on a Monday. I feel like we should hit MK first but at the same time wait. We will be doing MNSSHP sunday night so not sure what I should start with at this point. This is what happens when you have been away too long....you forget how to plan and get a feel of everything.

Well, if it were me, I would start with MK because you are going back to MK for the party. Spacing those two visits apart would be nice. Do you usually spend a full day at either AK or DHS? If you usually spend a partial day at one of those, I would recommend doing that the morning of your MNSSHP, and perhaps the other on Monday when you might want to go back to the room and pack to depart. That would leave Epcot for Saturday. Weekends can be unpredictable when it comes to crowds at Epcot during F&W, but having a full day to spend there would also give you the opportunity for a midday break if you find you need one.

I don’t think the park vs. day of the week is as important as it used to be . . . It used to be that no one would recommend going to MK on a Monday because everyone went to MK on a Monday. That is not the case anymore, in my experience.
