San Juan Horse Back Riding

Hello!

Has anyone done the San Juan horse back riding excursion offered through DCL? Was it a good experience?

We did but it was years ago back in 2012. I remember the horses did not go single file and mine rubbed along the side of another horse at one point which squished my leg a bit. I'm not an experienced rider so it was a little stressful trying to keep it from doing that again. We got muddy but it was fun and I'd do it again, though I'd stress even harder I am a beginner rider...!

Thank you for the reply! My two daughters are very experienced riders (12,8 at the time of cruise). It seems the age is 9 and up...i
Wonder if they would allow the 8 year old?

If you book through Disney they will not allow you to book anyone younger than stated. Sometimes if you book directly with a company they will allow younger kids.

I will say with horses often there is insurance involved that has a minimum age. You could always try to call the company directly but I'd bet its insurance related.
