San Francisco to Disneyland

I am planning to do the head south trip from SF to eventually Disney. My plan, after a stay in San Francisco, is to head down the PCH and do one of the last tours at Hearst Castle and then spend the night in San Luis Obispo... going the rest of the way the next day to DL, with stops on the way.

Realistically, can I make a 3PM tour at the Castle, if I leave SF by 8AM? Will that give me time to check things out or will I just have to fly through everything to be at the Castle by 3?
