Does anyone have suggestions to get the best/lowest ticket price? I'm thinking of the San Diego Go card adding the zoo and martime museum.
Thanks!

The Go card is only a good value if you use it for SeaWorld and Legoland because they have the most expensive individual admission prices.

San Diego Zoo is currently $46/36 adult/child
Maritime Museum is $16/8 adult/child

Unless you can get a Go card for under $60 it won't save you for just those 2 combined.

I suggest buying tickets separately and using AAA, Costco, or military discount if you have it. You can also find coupon deals ($4-$5 off) for the zoo - look online or in hotel brochures.

Thanks for your reply. We will not have time for Sea World. Have you seen tickets for the zoo sold at Costco? I have went on the website and they do not list them for sale. I didnt realize how expensive the zoo tickets were, but we are going! We want to see the giant pandas for sure!
Thanks again for any suggestions!

I was wrong! it's not a Go card. It's the Smart Destinations websites.

I found a code online for $6 off per zoo ticket. Best part was since I live in Texas, I didn't get charged California sales tax. They were print at home tickets that I purchased through the zoo's website. No waiting at the zoo, just go straight to gates. We also did the Backstage Pass tour which was awesome. Since those tickets are $99 per person on top of the zoo entry ticket and we had a party of 6, saving tax made a huge difference!

How about that! I just purchased the tickets this weekend and had found that 6 off! I too printed them. It was the best deal I could find.

I know that this is a different park than yours but livingsocial.com has tickets for $25/person right now including the tram ride. Just in case anyone was interested.

Thanks for sharing, but we didn't have time to go to both parks.
