San Diego transportation car service?

Hi all, looking for a car service for transportation in San Diego, any recommendations? We have a pre and post stay in SD. The car service i asked quoted me over $500 for airport to hotel (in gaslamp) to port back to hotel then aiport. That seemed like much as the hotel was only like 12 minutes from airport and 7 min from port. Know of any companies? How easy is it to get taxis or uber? Thanks!

Ubers and taxis are readily available at the airport. I have used https://sdairporttransport.com/ in the past and have been satisfied with their service.

Uber not at all hard to get since you'll be downtown. Also adding that the trolley is a decent option from the Gaslamp to the port, a one-way ticket is $2.50 and all-day is $6 pp.

That price is insane. Take a cab, should be about $10. Also avoid those pedicabs. They will rip you off.
