Is there a conceirge area in San Diego Port

Yes and it's very tiny. Also the staff are not great at directing you to the right spot. We sailed Concierge out of SD last year (first time). We were directed to a large waiting area, even after specifically saying we were concierge. Sat down and about 10 minutes later another employee came out and walked around, looking for concierge guests. We followed her into a tiny, roped off area, where others were waiting. Guess she figured when only a handful of concierge guests showed up and none came for a while she'd go hunting for us lol

Yeah it's a seat, but it is also a seat that gets emptied before others. They'll actively get folks in the tiny area first to board. I'll happily take my seat is a seat is a seat to get on the ship early

If you're Concierge, you'll be boarding "early" (before all the others) regardless of what seat you're sitting in.
