San Diego Cruise Terminal

We are staying at the Hampton Inn, Downtown-San Diego. We have never stayed at this particular one so I hope it is a good choice.

We stayed at the San Diego Hampton in in August 2016 before our Panama Canal Cruise. We walked to the terminal with our luggage without any difficulties. The sidewalks are wide and open, and it's really only about 2 1/2 blocks. We actually beat the hotel shuttle that left at the same time. Have a great trip!

You could probably walk or take a bus faster. I would probably get Uber or Lyft if you have lots of luggage. The 992 bus is a good alternative, if you do not want to spend money on port to airport transportation (going back at least) even takes you to some hotels near by. 1/3 of a mile is pretty walkable, so I would walk if nearby.

Do you know if they have long term parking at that hotel?
