If you're ever in the San Antonio area, the Gardens are well worth a visit. There are extensive outdoor displays and some really neat conservatories. I wish that I would have discovered that the Gardens are so close to Fort Sam at the beginning rather than the end of my time here. We also visited the Japanese Tea Gardens/Sunken Gardens but it was essentially closed due to construction and went to the Alamo. There is a "Sightseer" bus route that hits the above mentioned gardens(yes, the Alamo has gardens) plus a couple of museums.

Sounds like a great trip :goodvibes If you have pics we'd love to see them :sunny: TheTea Gardens must've been very serene and tranquil.
