San Angel menu changed

We had San Angel booked for CP for December and just changed after looking at the changed menu. My DD wanted the pasta and shrimp and can't find anything else. Where going to Tutto now.

I ate at Tutto last December and thought it was very good. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Tutto is a scazillion times better than SAI, good choice changing! The new Tutto Menu is in my Oct link too

We've been there for the old and new menu. I was a little worried because what I ordered before wasn't on the menu anymore, but everyone really enjoyed their entrees. I had the Filete Motuleno and it was VERY good.

I was just looking at the new updated menu for San Angel on AllEars and I don't like it.

YES, we just returned and my sister complained when she showed up for our ADR ... lol!

The tortilla soup is awesome though ... the Filete Motuleno was really good as well. It didnt really look much like a Mexican menu to me, but I guess taco bell isnt mexican LOL

We showed up for our ADR on 10/26 and checked in. After looking at the new menu, we returned our buzzer and cancelled our ADR and ate elsewhere. We were there for lunch and the menu had changed so much no one was interested in the new offerings. It does seem to be for everyone who does not like the new menu, there are folks who now do. I also cancelled my ADR for SA for my January trip too. I think we plan to head over to Maragritaville for lunch instead.

Good question, that I would love to know the answer to! I want to add another to it, though (hope you don't mind!) - do the entrees come with rice to begin with?

It's funny to see how different the opinions are. We haven't been to WDW in a few years, but we used to always eat at the San Angel because of the beautiful atmosphere. When we booked our upcoming vacation, I was so disappointed in the last "new" menu that we didn't make an ADR. There just wasn't anything on the menu that looked good to me, or that I thought my DD or my Mom would eat. I was sad because this is going to be my Mom's 1st real vacation in several years and I know she loves the place. When I saw this thread, I looked at the new posted menu, and thought it looked much better than the last one and called and made a reservation. I'm so happy we will get to eat there now. I can't wait to try the Chicken Mole! (I still wish they would put just a plain old enchilada on the kids menu and really even on the adult menu for those people that aren't quite as adventurous in their selection)
