San Angel Lunch?

I've been trying to book a lunch at San Angel Inn for the last week of October. There is nothing available until 1:50 PM any day. At first I thought it was because of a large dining group, but I looked for smaller tables and same result. There's plenty of availability for dinner on those same dates as you would expect. Does anyone know what's going on? Do they wait to release lunch reservations for some reason?

Interesting. Could be they will be hosting some Food & Wine festival events (although they haven't in the past -- the tequila lunch has in recent years been held across the "street" at La Hacienda) and won't release until those plans are finalized. Just a guess...
