Which would you recommend lunch or Dinner. I looked at the menu's and I think the lunch one appeals more to me, but if we add the dining plan, I know the better value is to use your table service credits for dinner. In any case, I wonder who has eaten here..and which meal did you have. Would you recommend it? We ate there MANY years ago..and my kids were young..so not thrilled..however, everyone is adult now..and wanted to give it another try. Heard the attraction inside is new also?

well, I went here for dinner and liked it well enough but remember thinking that lunch would be a better time to go if you are traveling during the hotter months. Try not to worry about which the better "value" is. If you have a nice big lunch, you won't be as hungry for dinner and can enjoy counter service while watching Illuminations if you like.

Because San Angel is so dimly lit and rather "sedate" I think it would be such an enjoyable break to the hustle and bustle of the parks to enjoy some relative quiet and air conditioning.

It is an "updated" attraction featuring the 3 Caballeros.

I have eaten both lunch and dinner and like them both. I agree withe previous poster, don't worry about the better value. In the end you need to eat what you like best and when it works with your park touring plan. I often prefer lunch because it is nice to have a midday break and then snack around the World Showcase for dinner.

San Angel Inn is a favorite of ours, hope you like it too!

I have only done dinner, but I agree with the person who said not to worry about your "value". Just eat what you like and when you want!

I had the chicken dish with a cheese sauce. It was SO good! My mom and sister both ordered a beef dish (same one). Mom loved it. My sister not so much but she also NEVER eats beef. Seriously this was probably the first time in 15 years. She had been loosening up some of her other eating habits and decided to try this to get her money's worth. She tried my chicken dish and really wished she had ordered that! We all had the soup appetizer and really enjoyed it.

We saw the attraction before the renovation. I don't know about now, but then in Aug, it was a real snooze. However the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and our table overlooked the ride, which kept the kids (5 and 6) entertained.
