San Angel Inn?

I had low expectations but really enjoyed my meal at San Angel Inn! Our margs were delicious (jalepeno for me, avocado for fiance) and we really enjoyed our main courses too. Pollo a las rajas was SO GOOD! We make it at home now and pretend like we're at Epcot My fiance had some sort of roast pork dish that he enjoyed. I will say the desserts STUNK. We were on the "free" DDP so at least we didn't pay for them, but still. Save your money for another drink or sweet treat around WS!

I agree the desserts are pretty bad, which is a disappointment when you're in epcot. This is the case with both restaurants in the Mexico pavilion. The best thing we had at either restaurant was vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce. They served that with a garnish of churros, which were really good. I think the margaritas make up for the bad desserts!

Don't go. Simply its not a good restaurant. The tables are so close to each other it may be difficult to pull your chair out enough to sit in it. The food is just OK. The service is slow. I do like the overall atmosphere though, but its just not enough to overcome the shortcomings.

I agree. The atmosphere is awesome...until you are seated at your table. The tables are way too close...uncomfortably crowded. And the food is just okay. But I aways go on the boat ride...just to experience the atmosphere.
