Our last trip we saw the San Angel Inn. I love the way it looks and think it might be fun to try this trip. My 9 year old will eat Mexican the problem is the soon to be 7 year old. Has anyone gone there with a fussy child that only likes chicken, pasta with butter, mac & cheese, hot dogs...? Thank you for your help!

You don't say if you are on the dining plan or not. Here is the kids menu at San Angel from allears.net

Kids' Picks

All Items served with Vegetables and Mexican Rice $7.49

Chicken uesadilla - grilled flour tortilla filled with low-fat cheese and chicken.

Flautas - fried corn tortilla filled with chicken and topped with sour cream and fresh cheese

Pressed Mexican Sandwich Torta - bolillo (mexican bread) filled with ham and cheese

Kid's Dessert - Vanilla Ice Cream

If you aren't restricted to the kids meals due to the dining plan, there are a few items on the adult menu that sound more plain like the grilled chicken breast served over red peppers. I have never gotten this dish, so I don't know if it is served in a more Mexican style etc. but it sounds plain on the menu. There is also shrimp cocktail. Would he eat those?

We ate here in Feb. and my middle daughter (7) is picky. She had the ham and cheese sandwich thingy and said it was her favorite lunch at Disney! I though their menu looked kid friendly too!:goodvibes

We are on the dining plan. I saw the menu on allears is not the same as the one on disboards (Dreams Unlimited) that you can find on here. So just wanted to see first hand from those who have been there. Thank you for your help!

Thanks. She would eat the ham but not the cheese and bread. LOL

My son is a picky eater. We always split the steak at the San Angel. It's quite good.

Thank you all for the advice! Just saw on Allears that it is closed for renovations so it may not be an issue for my August trip anyway.
