I have dined at San Angel Inn every trip I have taken to Disney World. It's not really the food, but the atmosphere....and margaritas
that I love. However, I always have the worst possible luck in table selection. One trip dh and I were put in this little reject room over close to the bathrooms. The other 2 times we had a table right close to the hostess podium and people kept brushing me as they were being seated. Has anyone asked for a table close to the water and been accommodated? I get the feeling Disney restaurants do not allow special requests. We asked to wait longer for a table on the outside patio at Rose and Crown last trip and were told we had to take the assigned table inside, which we did, but it was a little disappointing since it was a beautiful evening outdoors. I assume San Angel Inn would also have a take it or leave it approach. I really want a better this time at San Angel. Any suggestions? Does it help if you go during a non-peak time? For example, 11am for lunch? Or at 3:30pm for lunch or early dinner?
