Does anyone know the exact date of closure and the expected length of the refurb? I've checked a bunch of sites, but I can find no official word.

I read somewhere that it was going to be closed the entire month of June for remodeling. I think I read it on allearsnet.com.

When I first tried to make an ADR there for the week of June 21 no reservations were being made since it was closed. When I had to reschedule for the last week in June, the CM told me that San Angel is accepting ADRs for part of June. She said they wouldn't make reservations if it wasn't going to be open.

Hopefully, she is right.!:wizard:

The date of closure has been given as May 10. The reopening date has not been announced.

NO, but last time we tried for a restaurant and found out it was in rehab and that Disney was actually trying to contact everyone day by day. I am so at a loss as to what restaurant it was...but it was in Epcot. The + side is that when I called to confirm that indeed it was closed for our reservation(learning it here on the DIS), we were offered seating at LeCellier instead, I was like WHAT, but they said they opened more tables to accommodate the mistake. We took it of course.
In addition the family got a VIP section to watch the show that night, roped off area. Despite that, we wound up not staying and had other plans for that night (I know, crazy, but with kids, ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes)
So, lets hope they are handling rehabs better this year!

I just trieed (again) for 7/5 for lunch and nothing was available (nor for the 4th as well)

I have an ADR for May 29 :confused3 If it is going to be closed, I hope someone lets me know!

You might want to call dining and verify your reservations. It would be better to be safe than sorry. That way, if is closed during your trip you can change your ADR now while there might still be options.

Just called Disney Dining and they said that my May 12 reservation was still a go. She said that the refurbishment must have been pushed back otherwise I wouldn't have been able to make the reservation and someone would have called me back.
