San Angel Inn dinner

Has anyone eaten dinner recently at San Angel in Epcot? Would appreciate any info and opinions. We haven't eaten there in quite some time and would like to give it a try again. I know reviews are subjective, but any insight would be great.

who is in your party - we went with me, DH and then 2 DD 8 and 11 - the 8 year old didn't love it, but the rest of us did - more authentic mexican food - wasn't real spicy - really dark though !!! - atmosphere is weird - people walking around shopping - kind of like eating on the street in Mexico...the tables are really close, some active kids next to us - really loud and all over the place...

we were happy with the meal, but probably wouldn't go back only as we are not big Mexican food lovers anyway - the tortilla chips were good!

We ate there about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

The menu has changed, first of all. DH and I ordered some kind of beef dish and the kids had chicken fingers.

I'm sure we will never eat here again. I should have listened to everyone here and switched. The food wasn't terribly horrible . It was alot of factors tied in.

The tables are very very close together. The man in the table next to us was Pooh sized I would say, his chair was out into our space making it very difficult for DH to sit correctly in his table space. The margaritas are just OK, the service is just horrible. We were there forever. Like I said, the food wasn't terribly bad but with every factor and so many other choices we will go elsewhere.

We ate lunch there last month, pics and review and new menus are in my Oct link. It was very good and we will def go back
