I read online today that San Angel Inn, (Epcot's Mexico) will be closed for renovations beginning May 10, 2009. Just wanted to let folks know in case they were not already aware.

Hi! I have not yet read or heard for how long it will be closed only that the beginning of the refurb is scheduled for 5/10/09.

Thanks. We were thinking of going there. I guess if we want to we will have to go at the beginning of our trip.

I'd love to know what the renovation will entail. I asked in an earlier thread, but noone seems to know. I'm trying to decide if we should go prior to the refurb or wait until they reopen.

I have reservations here on May 8th- I wonder if I should pick someplace else if they are getting ready to close for awhile?

We ate there last visit so we didn't plan on dinner. But we do want to have counter service at the Cantina. Will that be closed as well?

I just talked with Disney Dining and the San Angel Inn renovation has been postponed!

I just called too and had my choice of dinner times ! Now I officially was able to get every ADR I wanted.
