Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S

If you have this phone can you tell me if you like it? I am thinking about getting it for DD, but can't decide between this and the Motorola Droid X.
I have the iPhone so I don't have any experience with and Android phone.

I actually just got this phone about a week and a half ago and I LOVE it! I was a loyal Blackberry user before this so I have no experience with other android phones, but the Samsung is awesome. Really easy to use, great camera, tons of pre-installed apps. The battery life is not as great as my Blackberry, but that is because of all the apps and the fact that my children are always asking to play games on my phone. (once I learned to use the task manager, my battery life greatly improved!)

I got my Fascinate at the begining of the year and I love it more each day. At the same time I bought my Son the Droid X and he really loves his too. The major difference between the two is size the Droid is bigger and harder to hold than the Fascinate, but is faster and has a better camera. The Fascinate has a higher resolution screen and the size is better for my smaller hands plus I can carry it in my pocket.

Again both are really great phones and which ever way you go you won't be sorry (until the bill comes).

I got the fascinate about 2 months ago and love it. My DD also loves it for the games. I love the fact that it's easy to navigate the internet, read my kindle when I get stuck somewhere, and takes great pictures, among many things.

Love it Love it! Never wanted a smartphone but do love all the convenience and entertainment for the boys when needed. Even though mine has been dropped in a bucket of water and works slower, I wouldn't give it up! You won't regret it!

Got the screen protector at Best Buy when I got the phone. Can't remember the name, but they should be able to direct you to one. Love this phone!

You DO NOT need a screen protector for the Fascinate, the glass on it is called "Gorilla Glass" which is made by Corning and is extremely hard to scratch. I purchased my Fascinate about 5 months ago and they tried to sell me screen protectors until my husband told them he worked for Corning. The salesman was pretty sheepish and then he said, "oh I guess you know about the Gorilla Glass then."
