We have memberships at both Sam's Club and Costco. I would say Costco hands down. I pick up some things at Sam's but really prefer Costco.

My three year old answered Costco cause they give cake samples.

I've only been to Costco once. I didn't see any food samples (although I did see litter all over the store from what was once food samples). We ended up joining BJ's and they had some samples but I didn't try any. So, I guess I can't answer the question.
