Sams Club canceled my order!

That was my son's entire Christmas! Has anyone else had problems with them?

I ordered a WII accessories and games on Thanksgiving am at 1:00 am and it has been processing since. I called last weekend and the girl wouldn't talk to me because i am not the member. But she said she could tell me that the over sold but the product was coming in and be shipped this week. I went on line to check today and it says canceled. Now they are telling us that there is a hold on our credit card for the amount of the order for 72 hours.

I had a meltdown at work but my friends all rallied and we got him his Christmas re-ordered and it will be here Christmas Eve. I hope!
 
SAMs did that to my mother the day before Thankgiving. She ordered Skylanders for my son to be picked up at the store and it was in stock. She got called a few hours later saying it was sold out and she would have to pick it up in a store a few hours away if she wanted it still.

So sorry this happened to you.

This is why I go out on Black Friday. There are stories like this posted every year. People who think they have the gifts ordered and on the way only to have the order cancelled.

As much as i hate to i just might have to go out. I thought i was getting the Wii for the same price as Walmart and not having to go out. The games i actually got cheaper when i reordered them. So it wasn't a loss just an inconvenience. I am thoroughly disgusted with Sams Club though.

According to their web site they had the wii at my local club but i didn't dare take the chance that it was there.
 
I have read stories like this about Sam's in different places on the web. There were people who ordered TV's and all sorts of their black Friday products and they oversold everything it seems. Sam's is not the only place that does this though and most people I have read about had their orders cancelled within a day or two not weeks later which is really sad.
 
Walmart.com did something similar to me. (They are owned by the same company) I got a really good deal on a phone set for my mom. They contacted me the next day to tell me the order did not go through and that the phone was sold out. I was so upset I cried. Luckily I found the same set on Amazon and had it shipped within 2 days.

I am sorry that you having to deal with this.
 
I did a site to store with walmart last week. 2hours before I was to pick it up they texted saying order was canceled... but it was still avail on the website. And they had the same thing at the store for $20 more. It was a mess. They told me that they redo their website every 24hours or something in a reply to my email. ugh

That's why I wound up ordering three of the same thing for my son's Christmas gift. I ordered two identical ones on Black Friday, just in case one of the vendors disappointed me. Then I found a different model that I liked better that was $10 cheaper, so I bought it. Only after the last order arrived did I return the first two to the B&M stores.
