We're currently going through DVC by resale for a VWL timeshare. We'll mail off the "deposit" check on Monday and then will be going through ROFS. Keep your fingers crossed.

I have been learning so much from all of you. Thank you!

I was just reading a post on a sample ressie. For example use year is Dec 2003-points expire 11-04. Poster booked ressie for 12-04 by banking points from 2003 use year.

If you would be so kind as to share some of your recent ressies and use years I would be very thankful. I'm slowly but surely learning the basics about DVC.

Use Year has nothing to do with making a reservation. It is merely when you will get your points each year and determines banking deadlines.

You may make all reservations based on the points available on the date of the reservation. If you will not need to use all points from the current Use Year, simply banl them for use the following year. If you need more points than you will have available, you may borrow from the following Use Year.
