Same or different restaurants

I struggle with this. As an infrequent visitor, there are difficult choices to make. There are a lot of places I would love to try, but I think there is nostalgia in some of the restaurants or food choices too, so we want to revisit some of those places.

We only go every 2-3 years now, so we mainly go to our favorites. We do try to squeeze in at least one new place, or one we haven't been to in a long time. We're planning on trying Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast for the first time in April.

Last 2 trips averaged half repeats, half new. It’s a mix for us too. We’ve also cut down on TS.

Back in the FP+ days it was less painful to have your ADR impact usage. With the paid LLMP I prefer to leave that day as flexible as possible. Our strategy going forward is LLMP 50% plus 1 of our days that visit, and only book dining/experiences on the days without LLMP.

We really need to start trying new places. There are so many choices here, yet we always seem to eat at the same place.

We are frequent visitors but still have the same nostalgic restaurants we go to. It is really hard to think about not going to them, so I totally agree with you! For our upcoming trip, though - I booked Tony's after reading recent reviews, and also Boma for breakfast. Both will be new to us.

Otherwise - our standbys are Garden Grill, Le Cellier OR Hacienda de San Angel (only do one each trip in Epcot) 50s Primetime and Tusker House.

Only if there is time, or if it's convenient will I try someplace new. I know what's good and what I like, so I tend not to stray. Tell you the truth, I've been disappointed way too many times when I stray. So many times have I said to myself afterwards, "I should have stuck to the tried and true".

Like a PP mentioned, I tend to eat TS very infrequently these days, mostly quick service. Maybe I'm a cheapskate, but a lot of the reason is price. And don't try new places very often, and if I do, it's always on a solo visit-TS can be so expensive, it would be a shame to pay all that many for something we didn't like. At least if I try it when I'm solo, the price is lower so I don't feel so bad when the bill comes.

I think the same

We don’t visit WDW as often, so we like to revisit our faves (less risky) rather than try new places and be disappointed. If we could visit more often and stayed longer, we would try so many new places!

We usually go to about 60% the same/favorites and 40% new. With that said if we have a bad meal or service at a favorite it will come out of rotation for a few trips then we will try again and if still bad we take it off the list. Ohana is one that permanently came off the favorite list. We dine mostly TS.

Mostly same. Can’t go to Dis and not have Boma and SH71 every time. Although, we are trying Olivia’s this time.
