Same day admission to Universal and Islands of Adventure

Hello Everyone!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if there is such a thing for a 1 day hopper pass for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure???? And if so, do you know where I can purchase them, and of course if its legit?

I called US about two months ago to ask this question. The lady told me they do sell 1 day / 2 park tickets but you have to buy them at US, you can't preorder them. They were $81.96 for adults and $71.31 for children w/tax. But I've heard they had a rate increase so I don't know if this is the new rates or old.

If you are a AAA member, check your local office. We bought ours there for our upcoming April trip.

If you ever have any intention of going back to Universal, I would go ahead and pay the extra $18 to get a 2 day 2 park pass. It would allow you to park hop for the day and you would still have a day left for a future trip. They sometimes even offer a 3rd day free special. Just something to think about.

I would definitely recommend the buying the 2 day, 2 park ticket. Its more econonical in my humble opinion and allows you the ability to "hop" between the parks. The thing to remember here(if you choose this option) is NOT to get it upgraded to the 3rd day free! If you do that then ALL your days will expire 6 days after the first use and it wouldn't be economical at all!

We plan on visiting the two Universal parks for one day in June. I plan on buying three day park passes from Ticketmania ahead of time. The three passes are currently $110.00 each on the TM site. $110.00 / 3 days = $36.67 per day. I then plan on selling my unused two days of admissions on Ebay upon returning home since the days never expire. That way we can tour both parks for less than half what it would cost for a one day two park pass.
