I looked at the link to Laughing Place.com. Why were they $43 on there if they are only $25 at the parks?

Because the Laughing Place store is a business and they have to make some sort of profit. You pay extra for the convenience of them going into the parks, buying the item and mailing it to you versus flying down there yourself.

I LOVE the Disney bears- I have a tan one myself that sits on my bed. They made a bigger version too that's around $40-$50 at the parks.

I've seen pictures of your bear in the pirate outfit, didn't you make that or did you find it at Build a Bear in past years?

I wish I could say that I made the outfit, but no I bought it at Build a Bear last year.

I also have the "My First Disney Bear". DD has a purple one too. I haven't quite found the right outfit for my turquoise bear, every other Disney outfit at B-a-B seems to clash with this color. Maybe I will just have to get it a pair of shorts and a Disney T-Shirt.

MariDW? Have you tried the jeans or overralls on the bears? Do they fit ok? My friend is moving so her stuff is all packed up between now and our trip and probably a long time after the trip LOL But I can't remember if I tried on pants on her Bear. I know the shoes fit, a bit smooshed on the feet but they worked :-D

I love the different colors offered but since I have the Pink Poodle from Build a Bear I've learned not all things go well on her so I will most likely go with the Cream color or the Tan the Tan continues to call to me LOL Maybe I should get both. The cream can be dressed in the girly stuff and clash less with the pinks and the Tan will look good in the boyish things. Hmmm!!! LOL

Must work more before the trip! LOL

I too got one on the last trip. I love it... yes, I am 24 and married. DH doesn't mind sharing the bed with us!

They are really great and hold up very well to lots of hugs and love. They also make great plane pillows.

Great idea!! I think it's time I upgraded to a Disney Bear!! I sleep funky and have to have something to rest my shoulder on... nothing sentimental, it can be a rolled up sweatshirt if I'm traveling or a stuffed elephant at home. DD2 hands it to me when we take our naps on Saturdays and says "That's yours, Mommy? That's yours, heffalump?" And I'm 29 and married, to boot!

I think I'll get a Disney Bear next time we travel...although I might have to fight DD for it -- she has several and is in the "mine" phase...
