On one of Samantha Brown's trips to WDW (Travel Channel) she had a teddy bear with Mickey outlines on the paws. Has anyone seen this at WDW? Thank you.

Yes- They are available. I think around $20. They have 3 different colors. My DD got one on our last trip. Very soft, and cuddly.

Is it something you can pretty much find anywhere? What colors? My DD would love to get one.Thanks. :flower:

We bought ours at downtown Disney. But I saw them around at a few places. One was dark brown, a light tan, and a medium brown, are the colors I remember. We bought the medium brown.

They are everywhere. I think it is called a Disney Bear and it comes with the cutest story of how it got all the mickey markings on it. My dd has one and loves it.

You can see the colors at....

in the search box type: Disney Bear

I keep looking myself, trying to decide between the light brown and the cream LOL They're really cute in person and super soft. My friend had bought one a few years back. They also have other things with the Disney Bear theme. Ornaments, they had not sure if still do scrapbook stuff for the Disney Bear. Magnets. Can't remember what else. Even at the toy store in the Build a Mr Potato head is a Disney Bear.

They have them at Once Upon a Toy in DTD. We bought ours there and were told if we came back in a few days, they would have the Disney Bear character there. We did go back, but I was extremely ill with a migraine, so I didn't get the pictures I wanted. I'm not sure if they still have the character in the store... that was in 2004 and I haven't seen anything about it lately.

They're $25 and if you have a Disney Visa card or annual pass you can get 10% off if you buy it at World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

Those are sooo cute! I am going to get my daughter one and my soon-to-be-born nephew one when we go in November! I might even get myself one! :goodvibes

DD got one on the Wonder a couple of years ago. Hers is mint green and you are right, sooooooooo soft.

What is also nice about the Disney Bear is the the Disney costumes from Build a Bear Workshop fit them. I have a white one, turquoise blue one and a brown one. My white bear has a Tinkerbell costume and my brown bear has a Pirate costume. We even took the brown bear to MNSSHP last year with us. We were all dressed as pirates and I was able to get it a wristband too.

Last trip (July 2005) we saw the Disney Bear with a Diaper and a Bib at the POR store. It was so soft, much softer than the regular bear who is pretty soft. I think it said "My first Disney Bear" on it. It was soooo cute.
Just some more info on the Disney Bear. They are also available very small with magnetic hands. I think they are $6.00. We bought one for DD's Stroller and it just hung on for our whole trip. They also make hard plastic ones for your Disney Mr. Potato Head to hold. I think they are $2.00 if you don't make a pototo head.

I've also seen them at the Character Premiere at the Chelsea Premium Outlet Mall -- got a white one for DD for around $10 and a grey one for I think around $6.99!!

That's actually why I was buying one!!!! I can't wait! LOL I've been going back and forth over which outfit to buy to bring down for my future bear. I have most of the Disney Build a Bear outfits but they will stay to home this trip.

I've seen pictures of your bear in the pirate outfit, didn't you make that or did you find it at Build a Bear in past years?

I looked at the link to Laughing Place.com. Why were they $43 on there if they are only $25 at the parks?

I too got one on the last trip. I love it... yes, I am 24 and married. DH doesn't mind sharing the bed with us! :)

They are really great and hold up very well to lots of hugs and love. They also make great plane pillows.
