Anyone been to this restaurant on I-Drive recently ?? or Seasons 52 ?

Is it worth going ? (just putting together my restaurant list for this years trip)

We really like Salt island. It's beautifully designed and lit with a lovely ambiance: sophisticated without being intimidating, and a lively buzz. It has several different zoned areas so, whilst it's fairly big, it has an interesting and intimate feel. The outside verandah is fun and we've had a drink there, but I wouldn't want to eat there - it would be a shame to miss out on the restaurant. The menu offers plenty of choice and the food is above average.

Well worth going, we ate at salt island 3 times last trip and can't wait to visit again this time. Like Deb said the inside is nice, there's a big display counter from which you can pick your meat or seafood and its been designed to look almost like you're underwater. The kitchens also open and there's a big wood fired bbq pit on which you can watch your food being cooked.

Food is a mixture of caribbean/american and really well done. King crab legs and the salt island platter (coconut shrimp, macadamia encrusted soft shell crab, slow roasted caribbean pork) being the most memorable. I've still got the menu on the noticeboard in the kitchen!

yeah I'd say so, can recomend the tiki island volcano golf behind the restaurant for afterwards too.
