Salon Mani/Pedis

Has anyone used a resort salon to get a manicure or pedicure. If so, which one and how did you like it? My daughter and I are going to WDW in August and will be staying at POR. We'd love to have a pedicure, but the spas are pretty pricey. We thought we might do better at one of the salons. Any suggestions for us?

I've only been to the spa at SSR - but it is worth every penny. My last pedi lasted for 6 weeks and was truly better than any other salon or spa I've been too.

Only place I have had manis and pedis at WDW is at the GF Spa and it has always been great. Nice facility and nice treatments

my dd has had her hair done at the GF Salon (Ivy Trellis) and was very pleased... we loved Carmen, the stylist... a nice treat for a girl too old for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but too young (or with a mother too cheap) for a spa!

I've had pedicures at the spas at Saratoga Springs (last August) and Grand Floridian (just a week and a half ago). The only reason we went to GF is SSR was booked the day we had available. My pedi from SSR lasted a LONG time but the one from GF was chipping the next day. The products they use at SSR are very calming, inspired by the ocean I think. The products they use at GF are citrus based. I would recommend the spa at Saratoga Springs. Both places are pricey, about $65 which does not include a tip. Have fun and enjoy yourself. It's nice to get pampered while on vacation!

I had manicure & pericure done at periwigs at the Yacht & Beach club resort for my wedding.
My pedicure lasted weeks. Manicure well over a week.
Would definately recommend.
