Sales at closing Disney stores

Our local Disney store is closing and I'm wondering if they have REALLY good sales before they actually close. Has anybody experienced this since so many have closed recently? Is it worth it to keep checking the store weekly?

When the Disney Store in my area closed a couple years ago, they brought in all kinds of odd merchandise. They had Lizzie Maquire pillows and t-shirts and other merchandise from old Disney shows. There were loads of ugly lamps and bubble makers and they prices weren't THAT great. I asked what happened to the regular inventory and was told that they shipped all the good stuff to stores that were remaining open and shipped in all kinds of stuff from the warehouses that they hadn't been able to get rid of in ages. It was disappointing. For your sake, I hope they got rid of all the garbage during the last big sell-off, so you can find some good deals at your store.

I went to the one closing in Cherry Hill, NJ. We spent $100...I felt the sales weren't much different than sales at any Disney Outlet. The prices were 40% off. Some items were already on sale, like the kids dining pieces, so 40% off made them $1.50. Some plushes were already on sale, DD2 got a stitch whom she just discovered rencently for $1.50.

Clothes were not marked down, so the Minnie costume which was $40 was just 40%. Around Christmas the some costumes at the outlet were 50% off. If you have the chance stop by, you are bound to find something.

Yup, they sent an email out a few weeks ago, they are now directing you to the store in Deptford Mall (to far for me to go, I'm about 20 minutes North of Cherry Hill Mall as it is).

I live in NJ...3 minutes from cherry hill....i only know of the disney store in cherry hill mall.....is that the one closing??

ours closed last week (Florence, KY) - it went 75% two days before the posted last day. And it was cleaned out!!! All that was left was plush and a ton of Wall-E things. the line was sooooooooo long - it was not worth it in my opinion. It had held at 40% for the whole other time. Again, not worth it to me.
