Salads at WDW

I may be just really easy to please :joker:, but my favorite on-property salad, is from T-Rex, in Disney Springs. It's called the Omnivore's Delight, and comes with grilled chicken. It has goat cheese, strawberries, dried cranberries, red onions, caramelized pecans, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I personally get it without the onions, as I don't care for their strong flavor. It is one of my all-time favorite salads!

Some of my favorite salads are actually from buffets, Cape May Cafe, Boma, Tusker House, Hollywood and Vine, and Biergarten, though I wouldn't recommend paying OOP for those meals for only salad. For QS Wolfgang Puck Express has great salads, and I also really like the salads at Captain Cook's and Contempo Cafe, and Sunshine Seasons, though they seem to change their's more often. For non-buffet TS restaurants, the cobb salad at Brown Derby is very good, so are the field greens at Mama Melrose's.

If you are willing to go off-property with a rental car or uber ...

Sweet Tomatoes in the Crossroads shopping center by the Disney Springs are hotels is a great place to get a salad - all-you-can eat buffet.

CA has wonderful salads - I get one and a sushi roll (which are meals all to themselves) for my dinner and am STUFFED. I get bailed out by my companions:)

MP - lobster salad - SOOO freaking good.

Bluezoo - the beet salad is amazing, but I usually have to save my stomach space to shove more seafood in my maw when I'm there.

What is CA and MP

What is CA and MP

CA = autocorrect fail - actually I should have put CG for California Grill
MP = Monsuier Paul

Also, the vegetarian platter at Tangerine Cafe is very salady and MORE than enough to share/split.

I liked the Coronation Salad at Rose and Crown. I've also had several great salads at California Grill, though I think those change seasonally.

Can you give some details on the coronation salad at Rose & Crown? I'm thinking of trying lunch there and getting the salad and cheese plate, but haven't found details on what's in the salad.

To the OP, I like the Galactic Chicken Salad at Backlot Express. I love the Cobb salad at Brown Derby and the Harvest Salad at The Wave -even the dried cherries on it, and I don't like cherries! The Wave has a great lunch called "Soup Salad Sandwich" with a small Harvest salad, a cup of the soup of the day, and a small turkey club sandwich on a bun - great for a less "heavy" lunch.

Ooh, jwfla thanks for the pic of the Coronation salad. I'm still not sure what all is on it, but it looks good.

Sadly, I have no recollection of what was in it, other than the dressing, which I got on the side and thought was quite yummy. Hopefully someone who is more observant than I am can chime in!

I'm so glad you asked this! I can't eat bread for an allergy reason, so I eat a lot of salads. I hear such good things about the Cobb salad at Brown Derby. Is it 2 table service credits for lunch or just dinner? Anyone know?

The Coronation Salad has the following in it: bib lettuce, carrots, red onion, raisins, grape tomatoes and then it was topped with crunchy crotons which I loved. Our server told me they were made with garlic fried Naan bread, ok? YUM! Of course they were good! The dressings were a mustardy vinaigrette and a sweet yogurt one. I preferred the sweet yogurt dressing but it's all the matter of preference. Next time I would just get this salad and a cup of the leek soup. I got the chicken masala curry which was ok-I honestly didn't love it-but I definitely love that salad!

Cobb Salad from the Brown Derby? I can't believe it's only been mentioned once. It's superb. If the Brown Derby is full, you can get it at the lounge outside as well.

It is, alas, two credits all the time, but the menu is the same lunch and dinner.

BBQ Chicken Salad at Flame Tree... sitting down by the water looking across to Everest.

I have to second the broccoli peppercorn salad at Columbia Harbor House. This is one of my favorite salads!

The best salad, hands down, is the chopped Cobb salad at the Brown Derby at the Studios. It's a table service, but there's a lounge outside that doesn't require ADRs and you can get the salad there. Probably one of my favorite dishes on property!
I agree! Cobb salad at the HBD Lounge is one of my favorites. And it's a relaxing place to linger over a glass of wine and people watch.
