OK.........I just LOVE salads.........any suggestions other than Brown Derby's Cobb........already planning on having that!:)

The salad at Artist Point with beets, blue cheese and blackberry vinaigrette was pretty good, but my favourite was the make your own salad from POR food court, you could choose exactly what dressing and ingredients you wanted, topped with freshly cooked chicken.

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot has great salads.

I liked the salad at Pecos Bill's.

Just stay away from the regular dinner salad (the appetizer version) at Whispering Canyon. Terrible.

All Star Movies also had a make your own salad......it looked fantastic. I am very partial to chicken ceasar salads too and Cosmic Rays had a salad that filled me up and could not finish it all......YUMMY.....

Flame Tree at AK had a really nice BBQ chicken salad with a white balsamic dressing that was good.

I really like Mama Melrose's field greens salad, with crumbled blue cheese, and a balsamic dressing.

Fantastic salad variety at Boma, between the salads and the hummus I almost forgot to try any other entrees. Managed 7 puddings of course.

mmmmmmmmmmmm Thanks for all of your suggestions! I think I will be very pleased with many of those suggestions......I am getting hungry NOW!

I liked the Greek salad appetizer at Spoodles. It was a huge serving for $5.99.

Of the buffet restaurants, I liked best the dinner salad bars at Crystal Palace and Cape May. Lots of variety, not just your basics, and the turnover is so high in these restaurants that nothing ever sits long. The salad bar at 1900 dinner used to be fantastic, but they have scaled back the selection. All of these places include great soup and bread selections too.

Liberty Tree Tavern has a great Colony Salad on the lunch menu. It's alwasy fresh and delish!:hippie:

Last Sept. we had the Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing $8.39 at Sunshine Seasons and it was really good-alot of tuna and perfectly seared-nice and rare the way I like it. My DSis ordered hers with Caeser dressing instead of the sesame rice wine dressing and they happily accomodated her-it was so good that we ordered it that way again a few days later. Yummo!

Here's a pix of it

You can't really see it with the stuff on top, but there's a lot of tuna there! :cloud9:

Alos another good salad we had (DM and I shared) was Fruit Plate - seasonal sliced fruit plate served with honey yogurt $6.99 which isn't really a salad, but is alot of fruit on a plate. Very good. And very big!

Well my favorite salad is the Chinois Chicken Salad at Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney Marketplace.....ever since I had at his restaurants in Las Vegas I have to get it whenever I'm at one of his restaurants.

i thought the salad at ohana was really good. believe it or not, i found that the ONLY thing i liked there was the salad, the chips and the potatoes. everything else wasn't my cup of tea. i know i'm in the minority on that one, though. i just found it to be loud, chaotic and the meat was bone dry.

Last December I had a salad appetizer at Artist Point and it was amazing. It was iceburg lettuce with radish, bacon, hard boiled eggs and cucumber dressing. The dressing was absolutely delicious.

cobb salad at brown derby - i get it with extra avocado and blue cheese!
