I'm a vinegar and oil kinda girl. I actually just use the vinegar but people would think I am weird if I just asked for oil.

On a side note, I just can't do ranch ever since I read the ingredents and it seems like all ranch dressing has MSG. I knew there was a reason I didn't like that stuff

Totally in favor of it. Don't like naked salad. Put some clothes on, for God's sake.

I like to switch it up, depending on my mood and what I put into said salad.

If I had to pick one, once and for all, I'd go with some sort of viniagrette. Preferably one with red wine and balsamic vinegar.
