There is a lovely place in Gloucester called the Bass Rocks Inn and they have been so helpful in making certain we can stay there comfortably, no matter what Bob needs at that point. So, the plan is to leave the airport and drive to Gloucester and look at this for a couple of days:

Kathrin and my brother can come there to visit us!

I am a native of Gloucester--my whole family is. When you grow up on the ocean, you don't realize what you're missing until you move away. Good Harbor beach is a short drive away from where you're staying--wonderful white sand. You might take a drive into Rockport as well, and check out Bearskin Neck down there if you like quaint little shops. Have a great trip!

The resort and area look beautiful, I'm sure you & Bob will have a nice time there and I have a feeling it will be the type of rehab Bob will really enjoy! If you don't mind and it's no too off topic share some pics after your travels!

I will be happy to share some photos if it is permitted on here. We haven't had too much trouble before from the mods for going slightly off-topic, but I will defer to them when the time comes!

Scott's job interview for promotion @ HD went well..There were 2 other candidates also..Boss said they'd know in a week...Cross your fingers...

They changed my Sunday hours at work from 7-3 to 3-11 and today is the 1st day...I'm not too thrilled w/it at the moment, we've always done stuff together on Sundays and even getting out @ 3 thats no problem..Forget it now Oh well, gotta do whats best for the job.

Hurt both my feet power walking @ the track, I cant even walk the dog myself

Thank you! Hopefully we have chosen well for our stay. Where in Ohio are you now? You are certainly far from the ocean!! (We lived in Jamestown, outside of Xenia, for a number of years.)

We're just north of Cincinnati. We try to get home to Gloucester at least 1-2 times per year. It's quite a long drive though. Hopefully you'll have great weather-my mom said it is low 80s with no humidity today

Basket filters. There s/b one small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a little sponge; 2 dish towels and a roll or 2 of paper towels.

I don't believe the studio has any knives -- or any "real" silverware or utensils. I guess it would be kinda hard to cut a bagel with a plastic knife!! Are you driving? Bring one. (I just can't bring myself to suggest packing one in your luggage if you're flying! )

Flying! But DH has volunteered to do the shopping, so I'll have him either get a cheap one or skip the bagels!

Random question ...

DH and I had our 2nd anniversary on Valentine's Day this year... but due to some money issues, didn't really celebrate the ann, or VD. After a long talk, and DH had been planning for October (the day we started officially dating,) to celebrate, me, being the typical woman, didnt think of that, and was upset we'd waiting so long, etc... )
Long story semi short, DH finally decided he'd take me out to dinner at DTD (Fulton's), and Ghiradellis (sp) for dessert.

My question is.. it's obviously not our anniversary, would it be improper to tell CM's that that is what we are at Disney to celebrate? And what would you guys suggest maybe to do at AKL, just the two of us? We're planning on spending some time out on the balcony, maybe walking around and using some of the viewing spots, but I don't really have any other ideas, other than that.

T - there is a lot of beautiful romantic spots at AKL, that just spending time together will be great. Plenty of places for a special dinner (jiko, is my favorite) or a cocktail.
