Things are going well... it is recital time for me so I am very busy at work. I had two last week, two this weekend and two tonight. I have three on Friday night then nine the next week and five the following week. But I love seeing my students' progress so it really isn't too bad.

Bob is doing more and more each day. Here is what he did with his physical therapist on Friday!

This weekend I helped him walk through the house and out to the patio, which meant going down two steps (and back up them when he was done outside). Our younger DD hadn't seen him walk at all since January, so when he showed up at the patio doors on Sunday evening, she started to cry.

Glad to hear that things are going good for Bob. I hope he continues to get his progress.

11 Days!!!

Unfortunately I haven't even begun to pack for the 6 of us. I have a ton of little surprises that I bought for the kids and a huge list. If I don't start soon I'm going to be in so much trouble!

*My siggie says 12 days but we decided to leave a day early and use some of DH's points to stay the night at a Homewood Suites and get to Disney bright and early Saturday morning.

I saw that but I don't think we will be going. I think DH would think I lost it if I drove over an hour to meet people I don't know He doesn't get the whole disboard thing. He doesn't even like it when I read other people's TRs.... even unfinished ones

I can't begin to get caught up, what else is new?

Things are fine here...Beauty was sick over the weekend, but she seems to be better now....Scott into a minor accident w/my car, but luckily it was minor, no one was hurt, the damage to my car is just cosmetic so I'm not even going to bother to get it fixed.
Job is good, I really like it! Love the hours!

Still in jeopardy of cancelling trip..However, I got he airfare anyway...Guess how much the flight down is for the 2 of us? $5 We only had to pay $2.50 in fees, we used air miles...Scott's flight home is $139, and mine is$46 because I had credits...So R/T for me is $48.50 and Scotts is $141.50Can't pass that up.

Glad to hear Beauty is doing better. And WOW for those rates. I would have definately booked at that rate.

I'm newer here, but around long enough to learn Bob has made great improvements in the last ~5 months. Seeing the pic of him walk and reading your DD cried brought tears to my eyes too! So weird how very happy things also bring tears! Wishing many more milestones for Bob and great weeks of recitals for you!

Lots of not so great stuff happening, the worlds must be totally off alignment.

Totally stressed on my end, hoping for the cycle to end and a good one to begin. Anyone against a quick extra serving mid-week for a little cheering up? Hope not cause I am posting it!

Only 1 other change have I made for the Oct trip....We decided to cancel Jiko for our arrival night, and just wing what we want to do that day for now.
It's way too expensive, and we'd be too worried about the cost.
So! What we decided to do instead (I haven't booked it yet, but since I'm off from work tomorrow, I'll do it then) is the Wednesday afternoon wine & cheese tastings @ Jiko...That way we can still ''feel'' that we've been to Jiko w/out it costing a fortune...It's $25pp...Then we'll do meet up w/our friends in Epcot, we have Via Napoli ressies w/them that night.

AKL CL can cancel Jiko for me for arrival night, but they can't book the wine tasting for us because by then we'll be staying @ BWV, is that correct?
