We are a family of 5. My mom and kids 10 and almost 8 will be joining us this March on the Wonder. I have the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon booked. Is this worth it? If you have done it ... any tips or feedback

Thanks so much

We swam with the dolphins on two Mexican Riviera cruises, and loved it. The grand kids didn't even realize they were getting a course in marine biology. The dolphins feel like wet inner tubes. Fascinating creatures. Since DH's camera isn't waterproof (and I don't think any dolphinarium allows cameras) we paid big bucks for the souvenir pics taken by their professional photographer.

Thanks for your reply. I went with the encounter cause I don't think my kids are as adventures and for sure my 8 year old would cry at the thought of being elevated by a dolphin....lol I figured we try just the encounter first and maybe in the future when they are teens lol they can do the swimming.

Good point about the camera. I am sure they want you to buy those memories. :)
