Well TinkLoverSam and I are sitting here at the airport with her hubby waiting for our flight in 55 min (yay for free airport wifi!) have safe travels everyone - cant wait to meet you all tomorrow on The Fantasy!!!!

4:45 or 5pm local time, depending on who you ask. Must be onboard by 4pm!! 40% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow.... It's quite warm here too. Was 90 today...

Well, Mick and I are all packed up at SSR and sat lazing in the room. We've had a wonderful 2 weeks in Orlando but we're very much looking forward to the cruise!

I wanted to thank everybody for the wonderful FE gifts...I am so amazed how so talented everybody is. Next time I need to get a little more creative. I really thought I would take home less than I brought....surprise surprise

It was great meeting the Disers that I did, unfortunately, I did not get chance to meet you all, I wish I had, it seemed like a great group of Disers

We booked our next cruise for November of 2013, maybe subject to change. I do not think I can handle the cool weather in November down there

I hope everyone had a great cruise!! Big thanks to everyone for the FE gifts. They were awesome and very creative. It was so much fun and we enjoyed going back to the cabin and seeing if our pockets had anything in them. The girls really enjoyed it (They didn't really understand it until we got on the cruise).
It was nice meeting some of you. I wish we would have been able to meet everyone. Maybe on our next cruise

We are home back in Ohio, grey and rain, lol, so yes it's home!
I wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone. It was so much fun coming back to our cabin and finding gifts! From day one until last night we received such fun and thoughtful gifts, again thank you very much.
Hope everyone enjoys their book marks, and every Princess and Pirate have sweet dreams of the Fantasy for a very long time to come.

We had a wonderful time on the ship but were so disappointed that we didn't get to meet anyone. We kept penciling in meets but the baby continually made other plans for us. So I looked & looked for green bracelets but never spied a single one .

I noticed when I was delivering gifts that one of you had a Hunger Games magnet on the door with the family names on it. I really wanted to meet you since I worked on that movie. I was supposed to work on the second one but they moved filming to Atlanta. That was fortunate for me since I was then able to go on the cruise with no problem.

We had one of our FEs stolen so we took the other one down. Our host said he was spreading the word that someone was stealing FEs on the ship. Did this happen to anyone else?

The FE gifts were fantastic. So many special birthday touches for me & wonderful gifts for the little one. We were all blown away by the creativity & the variety of ideas. You are a generous bunch of DISers!

We booked a holiday cruise for next year. This time it should be easier to meet people. But maybe we talked to some of you onboard without realizing who you were. We were the old couple toting a 1-yr-old around along with a pink polka-dotted tote. And if you ever saw a baby climbing the atrium stairs over & over & over, that was probably her. I get tired all over again just thinking about it

I'll keep checking this thread to read your comments about the cruise. Would love to hear your highs & lows.

PS to BigRed: DH broke down & wore a suit. You would be proud

We are finally home. We had a great time, and the FE's were great!! Thanks to everyone for the hard work and creativity!! (chewing on a Cow Pie now!!) The Fantasy is much better IMHO than The Dream. Disney did good making changes from The Dream. One of the officers told us @ the Castaway Club reception that plans are in the works to update The Dream. It will be a while though, as the first dry dock for a new ship is at the 5 year mark. We have plans for this summer, so we didn't rebook this time. Only went on this trip because it was The Fantasy. It's time for Disney to make some serious itinerary changes!! The stop at Stone Mountain to see the Laser Show did not disappoint! Stone Mountain is a great weekend trip if you are near Atlanta. The drive home was windy, but dry. More later. Gotta get my pictures together, and most importantly, supper time.... Stinks paying for those meals for a while!!

So, what happens to the thread now? Does it just die?

Where did that week go??? The Fantasy really is beautiful...what a great week sailing on her! Planning to go back in October 2013.
