We are sailing on both a Western and a Eastern curise on the Magic next September. This will be our 5th & 6th cruise with Disney. We would like to meet others who will be cruising with us on either or both of these cruises. :rainbow: Mouser

We will be sailing on the Sept 15th cruise. My husband & I and our 2 kids, 7 & 2 yrs old. It will be our first Disney cruise. We are very excited. It is going to be a long year waiting!

It is a vacation you should enjoy. If you haven't spent time on the Disney Cruise web site that might be interesting. I have done Disney both with and without kids. Will your youngest be three by the cruise date? I am so excited about this. If I had the money I might just live on the Magic. However, I don't so I guess I won't. My Grandson who is almost 13 is very upset because we aren't taking him again next year. We'll that enough for now. Mouser

My youngest will have just turned 2. I am hoping that he won't be afraid of the characters. He is afraid of the cow at Chick Fil A but hopefully he will outgrow it.

We are cruise junkies, we love it! This will be my daughters 3rd cruise and she loves it too. Every time she sees a cruise commercial she wants to go! Can't blame her.

Hopefully your son will enjoy the cruise and you can get some good pictures of him with the characters. I have seen both kids that can't get enough and those who don't want anything to do with them. I can assume, if he will be two next year that he is only one now. They grow and change a lot in those first few years. (But you already know that) So it will be hard to know how he might react. Your daughter on the other hand seems like a young lady who will really enjoy all the activities DCL has to offer. When we first took the grandkids I had trouble keeping them out of the kids programs.

I am looking forward to this next vacation. I can't believe I have to wait almost a whole year. Mouser

I know me too....It is going to be a loooong year! Yes, Hailey is so excited to go on the cruise. She always loves the kids clubs. The last cruise we took, she never even got off the boat with us. She never wanted to leave the club. Even during dinner, we would have to stop and take her to the club. On the other cruises we were on the kids clubs were not open all day long. They were open 9-12, 2-5 & 7-10.

The kids program on Disney is open from 9AM till at least midnight each day of the cruise. It closes for the safety drill on the first day and when they move from Castaway back to the ship on the last full day. They take the kids to both Lunch and Dinner each full curise day. So if she wanted to live there she could. It will give you freedom. i don't believe the kid's club will take the kids swimming. The pools on this ship are really kid friendly. However, if they are still in diapers they are restricted to the two small wading pools.

I have lots of planning to do before this vacation. We want to go to WDW as well as the back to back cruises. We will see how much money I can save. I have been accused of tring toplan even the bathroom breaks. Mouser
