My dd (3) loves to dance. (Well, actually what she does is more of a wiggle :teeth: ) So for the sailaway party, I know she will not want to be on dh's shoulders, but will want to be standing so she can dance. On the other hand, I know she will want to be able to see the characters and action, which she won't be able to do if she is NOT on dh's shoulders I assume. Would deck 10 be a good spot for us to be for the sailaway party, instead of deck 9? Will we be able to see the stage from there? Does deck 10 get as crowded as deck 9?

Thanks!!
Linda

It's a GREAT spot to view all that's going on - including the characters - & you (she) can just dance away up there.

It gets somewhat crowded, but not as much as Deck 9. Get a spot early on near the rail so she'll be able to see everything. We usually move a table & chairs back just a little bit so we don't block them from other people using them & stand along the rail to see.

oh, if there are tables and chairs nearby that would be EVEN BETTER!!!! my dear mother is traveling with us, and she does not like to stand for more than 15 minutes or so at a time, so this way she could sit right there with us and still watch the little ones dance. Thanks for the info!!!

It rained during our sailaway party, so they moved it inside to the atrium, and the little kids all got to go down in front of the stairs that lead to Lumiere's, and dance there. :)

This is where we stood on Deck 10 for a perfect head on view of the stage.....I went down on deck 9 to take this pic. I just wish I had my good zoom lens with me.

The pics below are taken from the above spot toward the stage. This area also had a table or two right nearby. It is right in front of the stack.

As you can see in the pics...if you are on Deck 9 your dd's best view would be on DH's shoulders (many kids in pic are doing this). You would have to be at the very front for an unobstructed view.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing those great pics MJ!! Looks like your spot is exactly where we will want to be. Perfect view and doesn't look too crowded at all.

thanks again,
Linda
