Sail Away Party Background Music Dream

I may be the only person that cared but in case anyone else was wondering, the music that is playing behind the first Cruise Staff member on the Dream at the beginning of the Sail Away party (where they tell you about all the clubs, etc) is the instrumental version of the song "Let Me Think About It". There's a good version by Pat Deville on the album "Instrumental All Stars". Here's the iTunes link:

I know some people like to have these songs for doing their videos and stuff so thought I'd share.

Last cruise this was then followed by the song "Shut Up and Dance With Me". I'm sure they change this from time to time but that's what we had:

Yeah I saw the Shut Up song listed but not the "Let me think about it". I did search before I posted just in case ;-) I'll make sure I get it posted over there. Thanks!

Haha, yeah looks like they added it after I posted it because it's at the bottom of the list and the last edit was after I posted. Thank goodness, I hate being that guy that posts something that is already on the boards lol.

I don't think my thread is the same as that other thread, is it? I'm just trying to list songs actually heard on the ship, and the other list includes songs that aren't heard on the ship, but are meant to get you in the mood for cruising, right? Not sure.

I'm not trying to split hairs; I just wanted to make a playlist that was as "official" as possible. Some of the "mood music" suggested by people in that other thread seemed a little "off", at least for me.

I guess we all have different music that reminds us of vacation. Most anything tropical or steel drum would remind of the cruise. They both have their purpose.

I saw that you listed Let Me Think About It so that's why I told OP to disregard my post. It's all good. I like the idea of having a compilation of music specifically played onboard or at CC.

Exactly. Again, it seems odd that DCL would not release something more "official-like" other than that short CD they were sending people a long time ago. I realize that they have to constantly update the music to include current popular hits, and rotate out the old stuff because it's long past its prime, but the Disney-owned music itself seems to be a constant.
