:grouphug: Cannot wait for more pics and hear all about your Mom and Girls trip!! SO excited! :dance3:

As for the Grand for the Grannie trip...we will happily visit you!:rotfl: As my mother would sometimes say about me, "Champagne taste with the beer pocketbook"...truer now than ever, but it keeps me in line...at least a bit when it comes to Disney...NOT when it comes to my sweet Sophia (a Nana's privilege, yes? :goodvibes)

Welcome Home Jeanette can not wait to hear all about your trip!

Hey Christine I have that same pocketbook lol :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Ahh... you know the torture of decision well! Any chance you might go next December? Would LOVE for you to be there for at least some of our dates! ::yes::

Christine
I am thinking about F&W and MNSSHP in 2013 but who knows we may love it so much this year ya know? When are you going next year?

If given the choice Sheila...f&w trumps Christmas for me. The girls wouldve been happy with mnsshp and pool time..

The grand is doable if its split a few ways Christine...with a good discount.

Welcome Home!!! That just made me feel like a DVC ad! :rotfl2:

F&W or Christmas???? I've done F&W the last three years and it's been SO LONG since I've been during the holiday season .... I'd say Christmas!!! Santa from around the world .... what more could a girl ask for???? :santa:

We are looking at some days that would go over the first or second weekend of December 2013. :thumbsup2

Jeannette, as much as I love the holidays, esp at Disney, MNSSHP is my favorite hard tkt (even though I don't love Halloween), would love to go back, but not a fan of F&W at all. The only thing I really enjoy about MVMCP is Santa & Mrs Claus at the end of the parade - of course being a certified sap, these old eyes stay misty throughout the parade.;) (it is the only parade I like other than MNSSHP)

Haven't been to F&G since 2005 and was with a very sick friend that trip, so did not see much - it is my dream time to go. :thumbsup2

Rosie and Linda are very excited about a December trip, so it will be loads of fun! I can hardly wait to see the Santas Around the World!! Oh, and the crazy Osborne lights! One yr we found every hidden Mickey...it was a lot of fun. Who am I kidding? I love WDW in December!

Tuesday November 13th....

After going to class, the bank, getting lunch, and then the princesses...it was time to pack :rolleyes1

I believe I had about 45 minutes to pack and I was done in 30, mind you I forgot a razor, my camera, you know...stuff :lmao:

Let me also mention that getting out of my car, I found my debit card in the door jam....the debit card that I had lost...it was the same place my EZ Pass disappeared to last year :confused3

Let's get on the road....

It was a bit of a longer ride getting to Allentown Airport than Newark, but I did get a great deal on tickets and parking was a lot cheaper...so off we went.

The economy parking is a quick walk to the terminal. The airport is small. With 3 young girls, this was a blessing...no line in security, 4 TSA officers to ourselves, they were very nice. We grabbed some subway sandwiches and headed to the gate...

Boarding started early, and it was very efficient. I have NOTHING negative to say about Frontier :goodvibes We landed ten minutes early!!!

Now at Orlando, we got to the rental counter, and I was shocked at lots of hidden fees I apparently agreed to...so much for my great rate  BUT we got our car quickly, and the girls were very happy to pick the car out they wanted...THE RED ONE :flower3:

I raced to Royal Pacific to make the snack room...unfortunately the snack room closed at 9pm. Well, not closed, just offerings are put away. They were kind enough to give us soda and some cookies, and we went back to the room. Our room was right across the lounge!!! :cheer2:

I LOVE Royal Pacific!!! The super comfy beds were calling....so I gave the girls bubble baths, and off to bed we went...

Alarm was set for 7am, lounge opened at 730am, and HRH said we HAD to raid the lounge first thing :thumbsup2

*apologies my friends for the lack of pics....janet was gracious to post pics on the RC thread....I have some pics on my cell, but most off this TR will be a novel :flower3:

Wednesday November 14th

Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure...and the snack room...and a DISmeet!!!!!!!!

My alarm went off at 7am, I hopped in the shower, and when I came out the girls were dressed and ready for the snack room :woohoo:

The snack room was empty, we grabbed a seat. Maddie served her sisters. There was a large assortment of cereals (in the ready-to-eat from bowls) and fruit, and of course YUMMIES. Bree loved the chocolate danish, and Kate and I did Cinnamon rolls. The rolls were warm and fresh..over iced but good!

For Starbucks fans, there is Starbucks coffee. The selection was much wider than what I've seen in WDW. Oh, Hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, bagels, toast, crossaints as well! :cloud9:

Then we were off to the boat launch to Universal. The wait was a little long, but the parks were not busy at all!

First stop....Despicable Me!

Nope, it is down...first stop Shrek!

Next stop, Despicable Me...nope, still down...

Bree's choice....SIMPSONS!! Bree was just under 40 inches in May and didn't get to ride...we rode this twice! She laughed the whole time!

Next stop~Woody Woodpecker's Coaster, now here's where I got lucky. Kate & Maddie both measured to 48 inches so they could ride without an adult. Thank goodness, otherwise, there's no way we could've done it...

This was Kate's choice, and we rode it twice!

E.T. was closed (a new ride coming)

We walked around a little checking out the Christmas decorations and then headed back to Despicable Me, and IT'S GOOD TO GO!!!

The queue actually is like standing in Gru's house, very cool!

There are 4 people to a row, but there has to be an adult on each end, so Kate was moved behind us, which she didn't mind...the ride was great, and we did it one more time...

Now it was noonish, so we headed back to take a break. We were strollerless this trip, and Bree's leggies hurt (mine too)

So back to the snack room...the girls played and colored (there's plenty to do toy-wise there) Lunch was fruit, nuts, juice, and a donut....lol..yep bad mommy.......

Up next Islands.......

I am here!!! Sitting at my computer at my desk for the first time in 3 weeks. :goodvibes Yes, we have Internet!

Jeanette, so far it sounds like you planned the perfect trip. Flying from Allentown, a small airport must have been great. Newark Airport, security :scared1: Landing early, priceless!!! (not like when you and DH went in the summer).

Looking forward to hearing more. :dance3:

I am here too! I admire your spunk taking the three DD's all alone! You are a gutsy lady!:goodvibes Although I am sure they were all perfect angels! They look that precious!

I'm lurking.... but here :) I followed along with my phone in my drawer at work today :thumbsup2

Hi Deena!!! You're a star in the tr too!!!

We were out of town this weekend....went to see Mark and his fiancé, but I'm back and caught up. Hooray for arrival and getting a little snack despite the lounge being closed.

It sounds like a fun morning. I have to say I'm a little sad to know that ET has closed.:(

Can't wait to hear more.
