Safeway Airmiles since Sobey's buyout

Has anyone else noticed the Airmiles deals at Safeway are not as good lately? We used to get buy $100 get 100 AM a couple of times a month and lately it has been spend $60 get 5x AM which is way less miles. The only 100 bonus I have seen was only valid Monday-Thursday and they used to be valid all week. I'm getting the feeling my AM collecting is going to slow down a lot

I don't think the deal is final, so we can't blame Sobeys yet. I agree the deals are not as good, may be a sign that Safeway was suffering.

Hasn't been any extreme air miles in Winnipeg in all of 2013. It bites.

Totally agree! How the heck am I supposed to earn the last 3000 AM required for my 2014 trip? Wouldn't have been a problem before! Come on Safeway I need those miles!
