Safeway 10x airmiles today

Just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone collecting Airmiles: Today only at Safeway the cashiers are asking if you would like 10% off of your bill or 10 times your air miles, and there is no minimum spending amount.

Maybe it's something new for BC?
I'm in Ontario and Safeway does this the first Tuesday of every month- lately it's been 10% off or 20X the airmiles (used to be 10x the airmiles)
